John has founded and built IT businesses over the last 50 years. He Co-Founded LBMS in 1977 which developed SSADM as the mandatory IT development methodology for UK Government and IPO’d on the LSE in 1986.

John co-founded uSwitch in 2000 and has been an active participant, lead, or support investor and on the board of a number of IT and healthcare enterprises including Chairman of Silverlink Software Ltd, the largest independent PAS supplier to the NHS, from 2008 until its disposal in 2021. John is the founder and life President of Belsize Park Rugby Club.


Forty years’ experience in the NHS as Director of Finance and IT in the acute sector. Chief Executive of a community trust.

Founder Director of the Commission for Health Improvement (now CQC).

Twelve years’ experience at board level in private sector focused on investment in healthcare information system providers. Led transformation projects in a number of acute trusts driving change in behaviours, financial re-engineering and improved access to information. Led one of the first installations of a fully integrated information system in the NHS acute sector which subsequently became the NPfIT programme.

Emma Sheldon MBE

Emma has built businesses internationally and led cross-functional teams in marketing, sales, operations  and research and development. She completed a management buy-out of a healthcare business and exited this business having increased shareholder value, launched and acquired innovative new products and developed and implemented a successful new market entry strategy.  The main sectors in which she operates are digital healthcare, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals and med-tech, helping to scale and grow businesses and teams.

Emma has a Global Executive MBA from Manchester Business School and was awarded an MBE in the Queens Birthday Honours for Services to International Business in Exporting.  


Stephen has over 20 years experience in IT consultancy, the last 10 of which have been dedicated to Capture Stroke development.

Stephen joined the team in 2013 with a focus on 3rd party software integration, a key part of the Capture Stroke offering with PAS integration setup as standard. Experience in Quality Assurance, Development, Software Deployment and Project Management always with a strong focus on Customer Support.


Stephen now manages the Newcastle Team to help drive the Capture Stroke product forward.

Oliver Wylie

Following carving a career in commercial roles with large healthcare corporates, the ex-International President of J&J approached Oliver to help launch the first generic medical device manufacturer. He was integral in funding negotiations, leading lobby & policy strategy and global expansion. This was later named by a prominent UK Surgeon as “the biggest thing to happen to orthopaedics in 20 years”.

Oliver founded Amodisc, which builds engaging remote medical training tools. This operates globally working with numerous NGOs, LMICs and organisations such as the Royal College of Surgeons, MIT and Intuitive Foundation. Amodisc sits on the United Nations Global surgical learning hub technical committee.  Alongside being a panel member on groups such as the NHS Academic Health Sciences Networks, Oliver is a mentor on the NHS England Clinical Entrepreneur Programme. He sits on the Board of companies ranging from AI, to operational workflow, diagnostics and mental health, whilst also supporting digital healthcare companies to be some of the biggest of their kind in the NHS.

With a passion for leveraging technology to improve patient outcomes, my work focuses on developing innovative solutions that enhance diagnostics, treatment, and rehabilitation for individuals affected by strokes.
